Sixton — Time Tracking for Freelancers
Effective Date: June 21, 2026
1. Introduction
Sixton ("we," "our," or "the app") is a time tracking and productivity application for freelancers, available on Android (Google Play). This Privacy Policy explains how Sixton handles information in connection with your use of the app.
We built Sixton with privacy as a core principle. The app works entirely on your device — there are no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no servers receiving your data. Your work sessions, client records, and project details stay on your device at all times.
By installing or using Sixton, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Sixton does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. All data you enter into the app is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.
Data you create within the app (stored on-device only):
- Client names and contact details
- Project names and descriptions
- Work sessions (start time, end time, duration, notes)
- Business settings such as your business name, tax ID, and payment terms
- App preferences and settings
This data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device using the Drift library. It is never transmitted to us, to any third-party analytics service, or to any server. We have no access to any information you enter into the app.
Sixton does not use any analytics SDK, crash reporting SDK, or behavioural tracking tools. We do not collect device identifiers, usage statistics, or diagnostic data.
3. How We Use Information
Because all data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us, we do not use your information in any way. Specifically:
- We do not analyze, process, or profile your data
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising targeting
- We do not share your data with any other party
The only purpose of data within the app is to provide the core functionality you request — tracking work sessions, managing clients and projects, and generating reports.
4. Third-Party Services
Sixton integrates Google AdMob for the purpose of displaying advertisements in the free version of the app. AdMob is operated by Google LLC. When ads are displayed, Google's SDK may collect certain information on your device in accordance with Google's own privacy practices.
This may include, but is not limited to, your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID), IP address, and general device information. This data is processed by Google, not by us.
For full details on how Google collects and uses data through AdMob, please review Google's Privacy Policy and the Google AdMob Help Center.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by adjusting your device settings. On Android, go to Settings > Google > Ads and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalisation."
5. Data Storage & Security
All data created in Sixton is stored exclusively on your device using a local SQLite database (via the Drift library for Flutter/Dart). App preferences are stored using Android SharedPreferences. No data is uploaded to or stored on any remote server.
The security of your data depends on the security of your device. We strongly recommend using a screen lock and keeping your device's operating system up to date.
Reports exported from the app (PDF, JSON, or CSV/Excel) are saved to your device's local storage. You are responsible for the security of any files you export, share, or back up.
Because we do not receive or store your data on our servers, we cannot recover data lost due to device damage, loss, or deletion of the app. We recommend backing up your device regularly.
6. Children's Privacy
Sixton is a productivity and business tool designed for adults, particularly freelancers and independent contractors. The app is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since Sixton does not collect any personal information from users at all, there is no mechanism by which children's data could be collected through our app.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used Sixton, please note that any data the child entered is stored only on the device and can be deleted by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data in Android settings.
7. Your Rights
Because Sixton stores all data locally on your device and we never receive or process your data on our end, the following rights apply directly through your device:
- Access: You can view all your data at any time within the app.
- Correction: You can edit any data entry directly within the app.
- Deletion: You can delete individual records, or delete all app data by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings or by uninstalling Sixton.
- Portability: You can export your data as PDF or JSON reports from within the app (CSV/Excel export coming in a future Pro update).
Since we do not hold any of your personal data on our servers, we cannot fulfil data subject requests on our end — there is simply no data for us to access, amend, or delete. All control over your data rests entirely with you.
If you reside in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Israel, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, please note that those laws apply to data controllers and processors that handle your personal data. Because Sixton does not collect or process personal data, we do not act as a data controller or processor in relation to the information you store within the app.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app's features or applicable laws. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this document.
For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you — for example, through a notice within the app or an update to the app's Google Play Store listing. Your continued use of Sixton after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. The current version is always available at sixton.app/privacy.
